Frequently asked questions

What is Loggers?
Loggers is a private timeline app that brings your photos, notes, and moments together in one place. Everything is organized day by day on a personal timeline that you own entirely.
What is life logging?
Life logging is the practice of recording everyday moments — photos, notes, thoughts, and experiences — to build a personal archive of your life. Loggers makes this easy with a day-by-day timeline that automatically organizes everything you capture.
What is the best app to organize photos and notes together?
Loggers brings photos, notes, and quick logs together on a single day-by-day timeline. Instead of switching between a photo gallery, a notes app, and a journal, everything lives in one place — organized by date, searchable, and always yours.
What data sources does Loggers support?
Loggers currently imports photos and videos from Apple Photos, notes from Obsidian, and supports quick text entries directly in the app. We're working on Google Photos, Apple Notes, and more.
Is there a private alternative to Google Photos?
Loggers is a private alternative to cloud photo services. Your data stays on European servers under strong privacy laws, with no ads and no third-party tracking. You own your content and can export or delete it at any time.
Does Loggers track me or sell my data?
No. Loggers has no ads and no third-party tracking. We track how features are used so we can improve the product, but this data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
How does Loggers keep my data secure?
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ and all data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Backups are encrypted and stored in the same jurisdiction as the primary data. Access is role-restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication.
Can I export or delete my data?
That's where we're headed. Full data export and self-service account deletion are on the roadmap. Your data belongs to you — when these features land, you'll be able to take everything with you or wipe it completely.
Is Loggers free?
Loggers is free to use during early access. We plan to offer a free tier alongside paid plans for additional storage and features. Our business model is based on subscriptions, not advertising.
Is Loggers available in my language?
Loggers is available in over 50 languages, including English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, and many more.
